Where Color Meets Feeling

I asked fifty strangers on the street if I could take their photo and let them pose however they felt. Each portrait is paired with one of fifty shades on a color chart — starting with bright yellow and ending in deep blue — reflecting a shift from joy to sadness. The photos are arranged in that same order, with each face matched to a single color in the gradient.
